Kart Racing School
The Endurance Karting School provides students with all the tools needed to feel comfortable racing on a competitive level. Ambitious racers can quickly learn the ins and outs of karting from the experts. Our kart racing school instructors emphasize a hands-on learning experience. Kart racing school students alternate between the classroom and the track, applying recently learned skills to real driving situations.
Kart Racing School Curriculum
Driving Basics: Our Kart Racing School instructors take students through a basic orientation. The class is introduced to the mechanics of the karts, and the different flags used in kart races.
Lead-Follow: Kart Racing School students are taken to the track to become familiar with the kart. Students first learn to handle the kart at a slow, constant speed, and to keep the kart in a proper line.
Braking: Our Kart Racing School students practice braking during turns and controlling the kart during rapid braking.
Lead-Follow: Instructors demonstrate correct racing line. Kart Racing School students remain at a slow-to-medium speed and practice passing on straight-aways with the instructors’ supervision.
Side-by-Side: Students are brought up to a medium speed to practice close driving with a Kart Racing School instructor or partner. They are also taught to remain in a correct racing line at a faster speed, and the correct braking and acceleration points.
Track Walk: Instructors break down the racing line from the perspective of the track. Kart Racing School Students and instructors discuss the implications and ramifications of reading the track surface.
Pair Up: Kart Racing School students gain more experience on the track during longer high speed sessions. Students also learn how to change drivers. The instructors then practice individually with each student on "trouble turns."
Mock Races: Our Kart Racing School drivers team up as partners to experience the LeMans Start, real-time driver changes, and true racing excitement.
