European-style endurance go carting was originated by racing enthusiasts looking for an inexpensive method of long distance team competition. These go carting marathons test the skill, strategy, and teamwork ability of beginners and veterans alike. From the United States to Europe, motor racing aficionados take the chance to feel the intensity of motor racing competition behind the wheel of go carting vehicles topping off at speeds of up to 50 mph.
Endurance Karting organizes a year-long seasonal tour of major cities across the United States, bringing the best of endurance go carting with it. Our 90 min, 6 hour, and 24 hour endurance races challenge go carting competitors of all levels. From veterans of go carting competition to first-timers on the track, racers have the opportunity to experience all the thrills of high-speed auto racing.
With multiple driver changes, pit stops for refueling and any mechanical adjustments, and Le Mans-style race starts, Endurance Karting provides all the bells and whistles of pro auto racing to our go carting events. Scoring is kept by the same AMB computerized system used in NASCAR and Formula 1 events.
Go Carting Scoring Classes
While drivers of different go carting skill levels share the track simultaneously, scoring is based on classes separated according to age, weight, and go carting experience. Those drivers with more than a year of experience in competitive go carting race in the pro-class. The rookie class is comprised of racers with less than a year of competitive go carting experience. Teams with a complete roster of drivers competing for the absolute first time enter the super-rookie class. Go carting teams with an average age of over 40 years old race in the master class. Last, but not least, teams comprised of members with an average weight over 190 lbs enter the big boy class.
Participants are free to enter go carting competition as a team or individually. Individual entrants are placed on teams of racers designated to the same racing class. Groups of friends or coworkers may choose to enter as a team of four in any go carting event.
Go Carting School
Newcomers to go carting can learn the basics of the sport from the experts. Our go carting instructors teach a one-day racing workshop at every Endurance Karting event. Go carting beginners can learn everything from basic handling of the kart to driver changes to racing strategies.
