Go Karting
Go karting aficionados and auto racing enthusiasts share the same track at Endurance Karting events. Participants from all walks of life take the chance to get behind the wheel of our high speed go karts, reaching speeds of over 50 mph. Beginners and veterans alike take part in the fun and excitement of go karting competition. Endurance Karting travels from coast to coast stopping at major cities all across the United States. Our go karting events mesh the thrill of serious competition with a light-hearted, friendly atmosphere open to one and all.
Endurance Karting brings the realism of NASCAR racing to the go karting track. Teams of racers must complete driver changes, pit stops, and real Le Mans style starts. From wire to wire, go karting teams race against the fastest times in their driving class hoping to put up the best finishes of the day. Our AMB computerized scoring system, identical to the one the pros use, keeps track of scores for the entire event.
The top three finishing teams in each go karting class are presented with trophies at the end of the day. From rookie drivers to seasoned veterans, teams are separated into classes dependent on age, weight, and skill level. At the close of the go karting season, the team with the best four starts in its class is crowned champion of the Endurance Karting league.
Our 90 min, 6 hour, and 24 hour European-style endurance races emphasize the value of teamwork in go karting competition. Teams of four change drivers throughout the race, as well as plan pit stops for refueling. A good go karting strategy becomes very important in these long, yet surprisingly close races. Regardless of the length of the endurance races, finishes are often decided on a matter of seconds.
All of the go karting equipment needed for competition is provided by Endurance Karting. Entry fees cover kart rental, mechanics and all the fuel you need. Any additional go karting gear (jackets, gloves, etc.) is available for rental at the day of the event.
Participants in each go karting event can choose to sign up either as a team or individually. Individual competitors will be assigned to a team of drivers of equal skill level.
Go Karting School
Beginner-level racers are given the opportunity to take advantage of our go karting school at every event. This one day workshop teaches students the basics of go karting, as well as more advanced techniques used in go karting competition. Students alternate from classroom lessons to behind-the-wheel instruction for an optimal environment to learn the ins and outs of go karting from the experts.
